Colin's angelfish

Centropyge colini
French name : Ange nain de Colin

Colin's angelfish is a small, rare dwarf angelfish of the family Pomacanthidae, found in the western Pacific. It has a lemon-yellow body with electric blue markings on the head and along the dorsal and anal fins, making it a prized but seldom-seen aquarium species. It is a shy, deep-water fish that spends much of its time near caves and overhangs. Generally peaceful and somewhat retiring, it should be housed with calm tankmates and given time to settle before feeding competitors are added. A mature reef aquarium with abundant live rock, caves, and subdued lighting suits its secretive nature. It is an omnivore, grazing on algae, sponges, and small invertebrates, and should be offered varied meaty and vegetable foods. Its high cost and delicate acclimatization make it a fish for experienced aquarists.
