Coral beauty angelfish

Centropyge bispinosa
French name : Ange nain à deux épines

The coral beauty is one of the most popular dwarf angelfish, a member of the family Pomacanthidae from the Indo-Pacific. It has a deep blue to purple body suffused with orange along the flanks, the exact intensity varying with locality. It is generally peaceful but can be feisty toward other dwarf angelfish and newcomers, so it is usually kept one per tank. It settles well into a peaceful community once established. A mature reef aquarium with plenty of live rock for grazing and hiding suits it, though in reef tanks it may occasionally nip at coral polyps and clam mantles. An omnivore, it feeds on algae and small invertebrates and should be offered a varied diet including marine algae and meaty foods. Its hardiness and modest size make it one of the more beginner-friendly marine angelfish.
