Daisy's ricefish is a tiny, brilliantly colored ricefish of the family Adrianichthyidae, endemic to a small spring habitat on Sulawesi, Indonesia. Males show iridescent blue bodies with bright red-orange fins, while females are more subdued. It is a peaceful, active schooling fish that does best in groups of eight or more, where males display and spar harmlessly for female attention. Its small size and gentle nature suit a calm nano community. A well-planted tank with gentle flow and neutral to slightly alkaline, moderately hard water suits it. It is a micropredator and omnivore, taking small live, frozen, and fine dry foods.
