Tinfoil barb

The tinfoil barb is a large freshwater cyprinid native to the rivers and lakes of Southeast Asia, including the Mekong and Chao Phraya basins. It has a bright silver, metallic body with red-orange fins edged in black, and grows far larger than most aquarium barbs. It is a fast-swimming, peaceful shoaling fish that is happiest in groups. Despite its calm temperament, its adult size and appetite make it suitable only for very large aquariums or ponds. It is an omnivore that readily eats plants, so it will devour soft aquarium vegetation. It accepts virtually any food, including pellets, vegetables, and frozen items. Because of its size and activity it needs long tanks with strong filtration and a secure cover. It is best kept with other large, robust community fish. It is an egg-scatterer, though breeding in home aquariums is uncommon due to its size.
